Hi, I’m Roey—a multidisciplinary designer who loves giving shape to ideas that don’t yet exist. Originally from China and now based in the U.S., I combine my background in Digital Media Studies, Studio Art, and an M.S. in Information Experience Design from the Pratt Institute to create thoughtful, human-centred digital experiences.

What excites me most is transforming abstract concepts into tangible experiences that people can use, feel, and enjoy. I thrive in collaborative environments. I love working with engineers, product managers, and marketers to bring diverse perspectives together. My approach blends intuition with data, creativity with structure, ensuring that the products I design not only function beautifully but also resonate with the people they’re meant for.

At the heart of my work is a belief that good design creates clarity—helping users feel empowered, keeping teams aligned, and enabling ideas to become experiences that matter.
